- Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary loan is a service that allows Lakehead students, faculty and staff to borrow materials from other libraries, if they are not available at Lakehead. The process for requesting materials across Ontario University (Omni) Libraries has been recently improved and streamlined. Now, you can search for and request items from other Omni libraries directly through Omni.

Use Omni to locate a journal title. You can enter a journal title in the search box or Use the Journals by category option on the left side to browse journals by category.

- Knowledge Commons

Knowledge Commons is Lakehead University Library's online repository. Knowledge Commons began as an e-theses repository and currently holds approximately 700 Lakehead theses. Any Lakehead faculty member may deposit publications in Knowledge Commons as long as they are the copyright holder. Knowledge Commons is considered to be an open access repository under the Tri-Agency Open Access Policy on Publications. In addition to journal articles, other types of reports, white papers, presentation slides, images and sound files are welcome.
