Chancellor Paterson Library: Group Study Rooms

Study rooms are reserved for Lakehead students only and are intended for groups, not single users.

Study rooms can be booked for up to 3 hours per day and up to 2 weeks in advance.

Study rooms are reserved through our online booking system. Select the links below to begin your reservation or stop by the Access Services desk for assistance.

Bookings must be confirmed within one hour of placing your reservation.  Bookings that are not confirmed are automatically cancelled by our system.

If your study room is vacant 30 minutes after the start of your booking, your booking may be cancelled by library staff due to the high demand of these spaces. If you are running late for your booking, please let us know. 

Group Study Room Noise Policy

Please acknowledge that all library users are entitled to a respectful work environment. Study rooms are not sound-proof and loud conversations or other disruptive noises are an inconvenience to others and will not be tolerated.

For those choosing to view our TV screens, the use of headphones is mandatory. Follow these instructions to connect to your study room’s AirMedia system.

Library staff may edit or cancel study room reservations at any time due to individual use, monopolies, or unruly behaviour.
