Study Spaces
The Chancellor Paterson Library and the Harvie Legacy Library have a number of bookable study rooms available for student use. These spaces are intended for group study, and must be reserved.
Equipment Booking
Equipment, such as laptops and cameras, are available for loan from a number of Lakehead Library locations. In Orillia please email orlib@lakeheadu.ca for information.
Printing Services
Printing information is provided by the Technology Service Centre (TSC). Printing is possible from Lakehead computers, or from your personal device.
Connecting to Wifi
Lakehead's Technology Services Centre (TSC) provides instructions for connecting your personal devices to the LakeheadU wireless network.
Liaison Librarians

Lakehead's Academic Support Zone provides services such as writing support, and time management and exam preparation workshops.

Research Guides
Research Guides are created by Lakehead librarians to highlight important databases, journals, and other resources that students should be familiar with in each subject area at Lakehead University.
Databases
The list of databases available via the Lakehead libraries can be sorted by subject area and type (i.e. newspaper databases). Click the dropdown menus at the top of the A-Z list for options.
Streaming Media Databases
The Lakehead Libraries subscribe to a number of film / documentary databases, such as NFB and Kanopy. You can view films from home or on-campus.
