Launch of contactless pickup and digitization services
The library is excited to announce the launch of a digitization and contactless pickup. All Lakehead community members are now able to request materials through the library’s main search tool (Omni) for these services.
How do I place a request?
Requests for digitization and pickup can be submitted directly through Omni. Visit our Omni Guide for more information on how to search for materials and place requests.
How long will it take to process my request?
On average, requests take approximately one week to process. This time may be longer depending on if your materials need to be shipped to the pickup location. You will receive email notifications when your material(s) are ready for pickup.
Where can I pick up my materials?
All materials requested by Thunder Bay users will be available for pickup at Chancellor Paterson Library. Items requested for pickup in Orillia will be available at the University Avenue location. Once your materials have been processed, you will receive an email from library staff with detailed instructions for pickup.
