New Database: Independent Voices

Source: The BAD Times (1971), Black Americans for Democracy, University of Arkansas via Independent Voices Library users now have access to Independent Voices; a digital collection of alternative press newspapers, magazines, and journals, drawn from special collections of participating libraries. The content was produced by feminists, dissident GIs, campus radicals, Native Americans, anti-war activists, Black Power advocates, Hispanics, LGBT activists, extreme right-wing press, and alternative literary magazines during the 20th century. Independent voices can be found under Databases A-Z and under Multidisciplinary Resources
