What is this?
SearchItAll is a one-stop searching service that allows users to discover library resources whatever the format - books, articles, e-books, DVDs, journals, etc. It combines the resources available in the library’s catalogue with the contents of article databases using one search box. It often returns a large number of results which you can refine by using the facets provided to narrow down by the type of result, the year of publication, etc. You can also expand the search beyond the library’s holding to include items that the library does not own or subscribe to but may be available through Racer, the library’s inter-library loan system.
This type of search is still in development and we’d love to know about your experience with it. Please take a minute or two to let us know how it is working.
