- (Educational Resources Information Center) is published by the U.S. Department of Education and provides extensive access to education-related literature. Indexes more than 900 educational journals as well as non-journal literature such as research and technical reports, conference proceedings, opinion papers, dissertations, curriculum materials, and lesson plans.

- This highly specialized collection of electronic information is designed for professional educators, professional librarians and education researchers. This collection offers information on everything from children's health and development to cutting-edge pedagogical theory and practice. Professional Development Collection includes full text for nearly 550 high quality education journals.
- This index provides high quality indexing of more than 770 high quality periodicals as far back as 1983, over 400 of which are peer-reviewed. Full text of articles from over 350 journals as far back as 1996 are also included. Especially thorough coverage of special education with over 50 journals devoted specifically to this important topic.
-Provides indexing and abstracts for more than 270 of the most popular teacher and administrator journals and magazines to assist professional educators.

Material related to EDUCATION is available primarily in the Education Library which is located in the Bora Laskin Building.
Specialized access to materials in the EDUCATION LIBRARY is provided in the Library's Online Catalogue by selecting Education Library as a limit.

Annotated Ontario Education Act 2008. (ED REF 344.713071 058 2006). An invaluable guide containing the full text of the current Education Act, along with authoritative commentary on a wide range of controversial issues.
Consolidated Ontario Education Statutes and Regulations. (ED Ref 344.713071 C65 2007). An annual publication designed to consolidate the Ontario statutes and regulations most relevant to the practice of educational law in Ontario.
INDEXES AND ABSTRACTSJournal articles can be a useful source of information for current research, teaching ideas and trends. Search these indexes and abstracts to locate articles using subject keywords. Many of these indexes also link to the full text of the article. These indexes can be accessed from the Education Library website, click on the Journal Indexes/Databases link.
ERIC: ERIC provides the most extensive access to education related journal articles and non-journal literature. It indexes more than 600 current educational journals, research syntheses, technical reports, conference proceedings, opinion papers, dissertations, curriculum materials and lesson plans. The database includes over 1,250,000 records.
CBCA Education: Focuses on Canadian information in the field of education. Over 400 journals are indexed back to the early 1980's. Sources include scholarly, administrative, professional, topical journals and newsletters. Full text is provided for most articles.
Education Abstracts: Provides references for articles from over 750 English language journals published in the U.S. and elsewhere covering all aspects of education. Also includes book reviews.
Professional Development Collection: This collection indexes over 700 education journals including 520 high quality education journals with 350 peer-reviewed titles. Topics ranging from children's health and development to cutting-edge pedagogical theory and practice. Also includes over 200 educational reports.
